Our Journey of Faith
On a journey of faith, friends who become sisters are wonderful companions. Thank you for joining me on the journey in my new book WOMAN MEETS JESUS. I went on a journey of faith as I wrote WOMAN MEETS JESUS. I found that if you’re going to meet Jesus on the journey and walk next to him, interact with whom he interacts, sees the world as he sees it, it is going to take some hefty doses of faith. I had to be honest. Jesus seems to work best in the hearts of a woman when she comes to him with her defenses down.
The sub title of WOMAN MEETS JESUS is How Jesus Encourages, Empowers, and Equips Women on Their Personal Journey of Faith. There’s that word journey again. Journeys can begin unexpectedly or with a certain calculation, but you’re never the same at the end. That can be very exciting although a bit dicey. When the promises of God meet the healing of Jesus in the heart and life of a woman, new attitudes are born. And that is healing at its best.
So meet these New Testament women – the woman who bled for twelve years, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of Jesus, Salome, the woman who poured perfume over Jesus, the Samaritan woman at the well, and a host of others who found healing and acceptance in the presence of Jesus. They used the gifts of the Spirit they were given. In WOMAN MEETS JESUS, I tell their stories in their voice from their point of view. And in the telling, these women became my Christian sisters because they showed me the blessing of living in the healing presence of Jesus.

Join them in making yourself vulnerable to Jesus as you take a few detours, climb into or out of a few valleys, and continue on in your own journey of faith.
